Food and Medications
We do not charge to feed your own dry or wet dog food to your pet. There will be an additional fee of $2.00 a day for special diet requests.
Please bring your pet's food in a hard plastic container with the pet's name and serving size written clearly on the outside of container.
THIS IS A MUST! NO GROCERY BAGS OF FOOD WILL BE ACCEPTED! IF YOU DO NOT BRING IN A HARD PLASTIC CONTAINER ONE WILL PROVIDED FOR YOU FOR A FEE!
If you do not provide your own pet food the following charges will be incurred per pet:
Small-Medium Dogs - $2.00/day
Large Dogs - $4.00/day
Ex-Large Dogs - $5.00/day
*No charge to administer medicines. Please bring all medicines in their original containers.
Interview Process
To be accepted as a pet guest, the owner completes a behavior questionnaire.
Your pet is introduced to other campers one by one to see how well they interact with other playmates. Pets must pass interview prior to stay unless "playtime" with other pets is not desired. Your pet will then need to be kenneled during playtimes.
Comfy & Cozy
Your pet's favorite toy or stuffed animal is always a good thing to curl up with at night.
Also a soft blanket or one of your old t-shirts helps to ease anxieties.
Please bring your pet's favorite bed. If they do not have one, we can provide a clean soft fleece one for them
Rental Fee is $5.00 per week. All beds are washed after each use. Should you request a bed and your pet has some anxiety issues causing them to destroy it, there will be a fee charged as follows:
Small-Medium - $25.00
Medium-Large - $40.00
After a stay at camp try to limit your pet's water consumption for the first
24 hours as pets tend to over drink when they arrive home.
We will make every effort to keep up with your pet's personal things. To insure that all items remain with the correct owner, please label all your: food/treats, bedding and toys. We prefer that all leashes and bowls not be brought with the boarders.
We don't have many rules here at DIA and would like to thank you in advance for your consideration in respecting our few special requests.
